Christmas Recap

Whew. Christmas is OVER. It seems like it went by so fast this year – I put my decorations up the weekend after Thanksgiving, and it’s time to take everything down already?

I’m at work this week, though it seems moot. The parking lot isn’t empty, by any means, but you can tell about half the company has taken time off. Most of our clients are shut down for the two weeks around the holidays, and I’ve never been able to understand why we don’t do the same for non-essential personnel. Whatever. I didn’t come in today until 10:30, took a two hour lunch (with a friend), and I’m leaving at 5. Suck it, workplace. Tomorrow I think I’ll work from home.

I cleaned up again for Christmas, though I didn’t get much that was on my lists. I got a new set of flannel sheets, slippers, pajama pants, some clothes, a teeth whitening kit (trays, not strips!), and some awesome earrings that I don’t think I had even mentioned to Mom. She just knows me that well.

I think I’ve decided to participate in January’s NaBloPoMo; fortunately you don’t have to blog the topic every single day, but since the theme is change, I figured I might have something to say. I have a few plans for change this year… you just never know what might happen.
