Emma – 14 months

Who wouldn’t love this little face? Miss Emma has really come into her own over the last few months, and she jibber-jabbers her way through the day. We always thought she’d be the quiet one, but NOT AT ALL. She is most emphatically not the quiet one. She’ll play by herself, but she’d really rather do whatever her sister is doing. It’s too cute.

Mom is here visiting this week, and I’m going to take advantage of her visit to eat at some of my favorite Indianapolis restaurants. I can’t wait to go to:
I’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

Are we done yet? I’m having a hard time coming up with lists — I’m a terrible listmaker, anyway, and an even bigger procrastinator. I’m going to try to step it up for this last week…
For tonight, a list of things stored on my DVR:
- Lost, “Meet Kevin Johnson”. I’ve seen it already, but saved it for Mom and Dad to watch while they’re in town.
- New Amsterdam, “Honor”. I was really looking forward to this show when it was supposed to air with the new fall lineup, but now I can see why it didn’t. It’s still entertaining, but I think it needs a little refinement.
- John Adams, “Join or Die” and “Independence”. LOVE Paul Giamatti. Can’t wait to have time to watch it!
- Blood Diamond. This is one of those movies that I didn’t have any grand desire to see in the theater, but now that it’s on HBO, I figure I’ll give it a shot.
- The Good Shepherd. This one I did want to see in the theater, and just didn’t make it in time. One of the guys at work told me it sucks, but I love Matt Damon, so I’m watching it anyway. I’d see him in just about anything.
- Top Chef, “Anything You Can Cook I Can Cook Better”. Top Chef is one of my favorite shows. I despise most reality shows, but Top Chef and Project Runway are guilty pleasures.
- August Rush. I watched this last weekend, and was kind of underwhelmed. I like Freddie Highmore, I really do, but this movie just didn’t do a lot for me. I found his little dimple rather annoying.
- Sliding Doors. This isn’t a new movie by any means, but it’s a favorite, so I was very excited to find out it was on a couple of weeks ago. I used to have the VHS version, but haven’t really looked for the DVD. You know, “nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition”.
- Sense and Sensibility. This is the version with Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson, and Alan Rickman. LOVE THEM ALL to bits and pieces, especially Mr. Rickman.
- Charlotte Gray. I’ve never seen this one, but thought it looked interesting. It was on early in February, and I still haven’t found the time to watch.
- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. This one I can finally delete, since I bought it this week. This certainly wasn’t the best of the trilogy, but I needed it to round out my collection. I’m anal like that.
- Waitress. I really loved this movie. I miss watching Keri Russell in Felicity, and I have always liked Nathan Fillion. I should really buy the DVD, I guess.
- Battlestar Galactica, “Razor”. This was supposed to tide the viewers over until the new season, but all it really did was whet my appetite. I’m working through the last three seasons on DVD in anticipiation of the April 4th season premiere… I can’t wait!
