In the meantime
March 2nd, 2008
I am having such trouble with the post I was going to put up today — I can’t get the formatting to work properly, and it’s so late that I can’t troubleshoot. AGH! Instead, here are the last 5 albums I purchased on iTunes, in no particular order:
- Eveningland, by hem. This was an iTunes suggestion based on something else I looked at, and I’m really enjoying it.
- 9, by Damien Rice. I’ve been wanting this album forever, and just hadn’t bought it until recently.
- Noel, by Josh Groban. This man is so talented, and this is one of my new favorite holiday albums. Ave Maria never sounded so good.
- My Holiday, by Mindy Smith. I think I first heard Mindy on WTTS 92.3 a couple of years ago, and I love her voice. She’s my go to girl when I’m travelling down south to visit family — I love to sing along in the car, and her melodies are easy to remember.
- The Reminder, by Feist. I’ve relied on XM Radio to introduce me to new artists for the last couple of years, and haven’t been disappointed in Leslie Feist at all. I think the first track I heard was Mushaboom, and while that wasn’t a favorite I would have a hard time finding one on this album that I don’t like.
Hopefully I can figure out what’s going on with the other post before tomorrow… I went shopping today, and what’s more fun than a fashion show with terrible lighting, shoddy camera work, and slouchy models?
